Eco Friendly Pet Aftercare.
At Rainbow Bridge Aquamation, LLC, our mission is to offer compassionate and high-quality aftercare for your beloved pets through a groundbreaking technology known as aquamation. We understand that losing a pet is a deeply emotional experience, and we are dedicated to providing a gentle, respectful, and environmentally-friendly alternative to traditional cremation.
Rainbow Bridge Aquamation was founded by Kat and Dudley Purbeck, lifelong pet owners who have both experienced the profound bond between pets and their families. Our journey into pet aftercare was deeply personal, inspired by our own experience with the loss of our cherished dog, Deliah Jane, in 2015. The decision to let her go was heart-wrenching, but having her cremated provided us with a physical memory to hold onto, offering comfort during our grief. This experience underscored for us the importance of thoughtful, compassionate pet aftercare, which is why we are committed to this meaningful work.
Dudley and Katherine Purbeck live in Canandaigua with their two children, two dogs, and one cat. Their journey into the world of pet aftercare began after experiencing personal losses, and exploring the options available in pet aftercare . In their search for pet aftercare options they discovered that there was a more compassionate and environmentally friendly alternative for honoring beloved pets. They recognized that such a process was underutilized in the pet aftercare industry, and thus, their dream was born. With strong backgrounds in retail healthcare, and business administration, Dudley and Katherine combine their valuable experience to create a service that is both professional and deeply caring. They hold themselves to high standards, ensuring that every pet is treated with the utmost respect and love, while also prioritizing the needs of the pet parents during such a difficult time. Their commitment to excellence and compassion sets them apart in the pet aftercare landscape.
Brady Boo was with our family for 16 great years. Sadly, he passed away in December of 2024,but the most beautiful gift he gave us was to be our ambassador for Rainbow Bridge Aquamation as a pioneer for our process.
Lucy Lou is a 6 year old boxer/beagle(?) we adopted from an abusive owner somewhere near Wolcott, NY. Although she despises car rides and loves to bark we are happy to provide her with siblings she can feel safe and happy with.
Handsome McCurdy is a 4 year old pitbull we inherited from a friend that tragically passed away. The greatest act of love from his original family was to seek out a new family who loved dogs who would care for their daughter’s precious pup as they would their own.
At Rainbow Bridge Aquamation, LLC, we are dedicated to treating each pet with the utmost care and respect throughout the entire process. We believe that pet aftercare is an essential step in the journey of pet ownership the final act of love for a pet family.
Thank you for considering Rainbow Bridge Aquamation, LLC. We are honored to help you remember and cherish the memory of your beloved pet while contributing to a more sustainable future.
